Our Veterinarians Dr. Jim Hanes
Jim grew up in the Iroquois area. Jim attended the Ontario Veterinary College where he graduated in 1975. After graduating Jim spent three years practicing in Woodstock, before accepting a position in Ottawa. The Brockville Animal Hospital opened in 1979 and moved to our current location at 681 Stewart Blvd in 1987. Jim's focus was to develop a practice that met the needs of both our patients and their owners. We have continued to up-grade our facility with the latest equipment as technology has advanced. Jim's continued goal is for his practice to offer to each client high quality veterinary medical care in a friendly and knowledgeable environment. Jim regularly attends the OVMA conference, among other continuing education workshops to keep his skills and knowledge current. He recently completed a course in dental procedures at the Animal Dental Training Center in Baltimore. He has been keen to apply his upgraded skills in dentistry to his patients. In his spare time Jim enjoys traveling with his wife Linda and downhill skiing with their children.
Dr. Tracy Synnott
Tracy is a hometown girl growing up in the Maitland area. A lifelong love of horses piqued her interest in veterinary medicine at a young age. Tracy followed her dreams and attended the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph where she graduated in 2002. Tracy began her career later that year and joined our team as a small animal veterinarian. She regularly attends continuing education seminars to enhance her skills and medical knowledge. She also recently attended a course at the Animal Dental Training Center in Baltimore to enhance her dental skills. Away from the clinic she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, two dogs, and cat. As a family they can often be found at the top of a ski slope or out on the river boating. Tracy continues her commitment to horseback riding and can even be found judging at local shows.
Dr. Corinne Neave
Corinne led an exciting military childhood traveling the world abroad before settling in the Ottawa area. Corinne graduated from OVC in 1992 and joined the BAH as a full time small animal veterinarian. Dr. Neave does find the time in her busy schedule to attend many continuing education workshops, keeping up with the latest medical advances. Away from the clinic Corinne spends much of her time in the company of her three children Liam, Molly & Sean and their many pets. When time permits she can be found horseback riding, or spending a quiet moment with a good book.
