Office Manager
Leslie - spent her childhood in the small village of Williamsburg helping her parent's in their family business. As a teenager they moved to Morrisburg where she first began her career at a local animal hospital. After relocating to Brockville in 1992 she joined our team. Leslie can be found greeting clients at the reception desk as well as performing her daily duties as office manager of the clinic. Away from the office Leslie enjoys quiet moments spent with her husband and their son as well as their, cat Gracie, & dog Sadie. As a family they enjoy getting away to warm & sunny destinations, being able to take in a Nascar race is always a bonus. At home quality time is spent entertaining family & friends.
Animal Health Tech
Julie - completed her education as a veterinary technician at Sheridan College in Mississauga prior to joining the Brockville Animal Hospital in 1985. Julie has been a loyal and important part of our team for many years now. Julie spends most of her time assisting our doctors in surgery. Away from the office Julie and her husband can be found playing baseball, curling or in the company of their active two-year-old fox terrier, "Spaz"
Registered Vet Tech
Kimberly - grew up in the small village of Cardinal. At a young age Kim could be found rescuing & saving the neighborhood strays. Upon completing her high-school co-op with us she decided to attended St. Lawerence College Kingston where she completed the three-year veterinary technician course. She was then licensed as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Kim joined our team full time in 2005. Kimberly can be found in the lab, in surgery or assisting on the reception desk. Her cheery attitude is a welcome addition to our team. Away from the office she spends much of her time with her boyfriend Jason & their cat Cleo. Kim enjoys cooking, traveling, and four-wheeling
Vet Assistants
Megan - joined our team after a co-op placement at St. Lawrence College Kingston where she was enrolled in the Veterinary Assistant program. Upon graduation Megan joined our team as a receptionist. Megan can also be found assisting our doctors in appointments, in surgery or performing lab duties. Megan enjoys time away from the office with her "new" husband Jeremy and their cat Charlie.
Receptionists
Melanie - attended the University of Guelph where she received a Bachelor of Zoology. Melanie joined our team initially as a receptionist in 2007. Recently Melanie took on a new position of assisting our surgical technician and our doctors. She can still be found lending a hand on the reception desk as needed. Away from the office Melanie enjoys family time, four wheeling with her husband Craig and curling up with a good book. Melanie and Craig hope to add a Great Dane puppy to their family in the near future.
Jessica - grew up close to Brockville on her family horse farm. Jessica is an avid horsewoman who continues to ride as time permits. Jessica completed a co-op program at our clinic as a student while she attended St. Mary's. She recently re-joined our practice as a receptionist her outgoing & efficient personality has been an asset to our team. Away from the hospital Jessica enjoys spending time with her fiancé Matt. Jessica & Matt's family include their two dogs "Rosco, Sam" and "Moo" their cat. In addition to her horse back riding; she also enjoys scuba diving and four wheeling.
